Lead Flash Mobile Games Developer

As the lead BoosterMedia Flash mobile games developer, you will be responsible for improving our existing Flash game engines and work on the core-scripting of innovative new game concepts. You will be supervising the technical side of the games developed by your BoosterMedia colleagues and external free-lancers.

About BoosterMedia

BoosterMedia is a young company, dedicated to bring the phenomenal success of online casual gaming sites to mobile devices. We design and develop mobile casual games ourselves. We also build and maintain mobile casual gaming portals, both as 'white-label' services for our clients, as well as for our own brands.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As the lead BoosterMedia Flash mobile games developer, you will be responsible for improving our existing Flash game engines and work on the core-scripting of innovative new game concepts. You will be supervising the technical side of the games developed by your BoosterMedia colleagues and external free-lancers. Obviously, you will also work closely together with our graphical designers and animators for the best game results.  

Additionally, you will be contributing to the technical side of R&D, such as expanding on new mobile gaming opportunities based on Flash 10.1 or porting Flash application to iPhone with upcoming CS5. Finally, you will manage our technical documentation and reusable software components library.

 
We require

- In-depth knowledge and experience with Adobe Flash CS4
- In-depth scripting experience in ActionScript 3.0 and 2.0
- A proven track record in designing and building interactive and complex Flash applications
- Good writing and communications skills in English


We also prefer

- Experience in designing Flash games and game-engines for web
- Experience in mobile game design or iPhone applications
- Hands-on familiarity with (integrating) graphics and animations using CS4
