Job description 

The Sales Manager Games will be responsible for expanding SEO, SEM, online/mobile marketing and performance based campaigns. This includes the creation and execution of online marketing strategies and tactical plans to acquire and retain active players for thumbr game titles and thumbr entertainment portal with the support of the Product Development Manager Games. The Sales Manager Games report directly to the Business Development Director.

Responsibilities 

  • Creation and execution of marketing strategies for licensed thumbr game titles and the thumbr entertainment portal to meet the company’s budget targets. 
  • Develop and grow relationships with mobile Ad Networks, Affiliate Networks and Publishers to drive relevant traffic to the thumbr game titles and entertainment platform.
  • Media buying of traffic
  • Work together with different internal teams to monitor and optimize product after launch and create post-mortem campaign reports for key stakeholders.
  • Analyse and report on campaign performance, sales and in game spend.
  • Advice on tools and processes to improve the sales monitoring and reporting

Desired skills & Experience 

  • Min 5 years online and mobile sales experience, in the games industry 
  • Excellent communication skills – written and oral
  • Fluent in English, secondary languages preferred: Dutch, German
  • Thorough understanding of the key market publishers, ad networks and target audience for mobile games and App Stores
  • Result driven commercial player with a proven track record on online or mobile sales
  • Team player and self starter
  • Hands-on mentality

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s or Masters degree in related study area, eg. Marketing, business economics, business administration,
